Michelle Chai is the incumbent CEO of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), the governing body of badminton in Malaysia. She used to be a former secretary for the AFC, and a former COO of the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM). She was appointed as the CEO of BAM in October last year, having previously been appointed as the General Manager before joining the OCM previously. Since being appointed as a CEO, she has spoken out about the recent drops in performances within the players who are in the association, and aims to end Malaysia’s Olympic hoodoo, by clinching the country’s first Olympic gold medal whilst in office.
